Country music wouldn’t be the same without female artists

All along its rich history, female artists played a great part in country music. It was true yesterday and it remains true today. But this importance is not always recognized and everybody knows that, unfortunately, country radios don’t play enough female artists. That’s a shame and a loss. They are great songwriters, amazing singers and a lot of them are very faithful to the tradition. Their sensibility is appreciated by all the lovers of real country music.

So, today, I want to share with you a playlist of Country female artists. You can listen to it with the Spotify link below or, if you don’t use Spotify, you can read the list below and find them on your favorite streaming app. You’ll find in this playlist actual artists and legends of the genre. I love all of those songs. There’s no particular order between them. I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Happy Women’s Day! Heureuse journée de la femme!
